Diabetic having total hysterectomy tomorow, scared help !!?

i am wondering how often people die from this surgery- i have a large cyst on my right ovary they dont know if its cancer or not and so i am having both ovaries taken and my uterus by abdominla incision. i am quite overweight, have type 2 diabetes (basically controlled) and an wondering how likely i am to die from this - has anyone had this done under these cirstances? please !!
