Runescape: Smithing blows for F2P players?

I having trouble making money. I want feedback on my view. I am a F2P high miner/smither (66/57) but I have made like no dough what so ever. My mind process was "if could make full mith, i could make bank."...which was years ago. Now with this Grand Exchange and trading updates, theres really no point to smith anything now compared to mining. Look at the stats, miner's view: [400gp per mith ore + 4*(300gp) per coal ore] = 1600gp vs. smither's view: 1 mith bar = 1 sword = 400gp. {{1600gp vs 400gp?!}} Selling mith bars (or addy) dont really add up either. Mith bar = 1700gp vs 1600gp of the ore to make a mith bar. The same result is for addy. The bottom line is that smithing has no promises for big money for F2P players. Now heres my question, should I mine ore to make $ or should go into the woodcutting business. For F2P players, WC is easier, less competitive, and you make more $. 1 yew = 520gp. Mining is boring, u have bots on ur *** 24/7, and u have to constantly be alert, but if i just mine just addy ore I'll be making bank too. Any thoughts? (btw im not going to become a member.) thanks for ur time.
