How to stay encouraged after a split?

attend a great little church, who like any other has its ups and downs. Sadly though about a quarter of its members have now left to join another congregation after a church split. I feel so very sad about this. i'm not really sure what caused the division other than one of the ministers had some strong opinions about how things should be done. He just up and left and then started his own ministry. I wish him well but it is causing feelings of uncertainty and awkwardness and both congregations are all familiar with each other. It may seem silly but I imagine this is how a child feels when they learn that their parents have separated. I feel so down. I thought we were in this race together and now I feel somewhat abandoned and alone. Any ideas how to keep going?
